Vitamin-R 1.65 adds support for Potion Factory’s The Hit List

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg – publicspace today is pleased to announce version 1.65 of Vitamin-R, its productivity tool designed to let you recapture the lost art of joyful concentration. Vitamin-R uses the latest insights from neuroscience to overcome procrastination, retain focus and maintain motivation.

Vitamin-R creates a brain-friendly environment with short bursts of distraction-free, highly focused activity alternating with opportunities for renewal, reflection and intuition.

The built-in task logging and statistics features create a positive momentum towards productivity by providing visible feedback on your progress and achievements.

This latest release adds support forPotion Factory’s The Hit List to do list manager.

The user can drag & drop action items from The Hit List straight into Vitamin-R’s objective field. Upon completion of the action item, Vitamin-R will automatically mark it as completed in The Hit List.

Vitamin-R breaks down large, vaguely defined tasks into a series of short “time slices” of between 10 and 30 minutes, each with specific, easily reachable and actionable objectives. The objective, time frame, concentration level and completion status of each time slice is logged automatically to the user log. Furthermore, the Vitamin-R Log Book also maintain hyperlinks to tasks in Cultured Code’s Things and OmniGroup’s OmniFocus to do list managers.

During a time slice Vitamin-R keeps you focused on accomplishing only this one objective and provides you with mechanisms for dealing with interruptions, poor concentration, etc.

Vitamin-R concentrates on getting started which allows you to break through the resistance of procrastination and creates a positive feedback loop of small achievements that get you closer to your ultimate aims. This greatly reduces the stress caused by looming deadlines and a lack of a clear direction, thus enabling you to enjoy guilt-free breaks in which you can pursue other interests.

Vitamin-R provides you with the “Now & Later Board”, complete with FastType magic, to give you a place to quickly dump all those things that go through your head and allows to get back to the task at hand.

While Vitamin-R assists you in getting on with your work, it also keeps a customizable record of your progress that can help you detect positive, os well as negative work patterns thus allowing you find the way that suits you best.

Vitamin-R plugs into your life rather than trying to take it over. You can use it occasionally to overcome procrastination or mental blocks or re-organize your entire working life around the concepts that it embodies. It integrates with rather than trying to replace traditional to-do list managers, such as Things or OmniFocus.
