Contact Bar allows you to quickly gain access to everyone listed in your address book. Click on the Status Bar and instantly the information from your selected contacts is at the tip of your mouse. These contacts are from all lists synthesized from your Mac and displayed using simple buttons. Everything is all in one place for a ” Quick Contact” summarized grouping of information. Finally all your contact information gathered in one place and everything is in plain view, up to date and at your finger tips.
Everyone at iLifeTouch agreed on one thing in respect to Contact Bar, the app was going to be controversial and a huge commitment on our team. Users would be constantly be asking for add-ons, improvements, additional sources of contacts and the list of complaints and wishes would always be at the teams door steps says the marketing director, Jeff Widderich.
So we decided that the app was too important not to build, especially since we love an impossible challenge. So the idea behind Contact Bar was simplicity and having every possible piece of information possible on a contact at the users finger tip. Raj Shaw the lead designer furthermore wanted users to really experience first hand how efficient and simple a great contact app really could be.
This app is a massive undertaking and we are committed to adding and streamlining Contact Bar.
