GoodReader for iOS Update Improves File Management and Annotating PDFs

Moscow, Russia – GoodReader, the document reader which achieved the rank of #2 best-selling iPad app in 2010, has been updated to version 3.8. The latest version offers improved file management using its new File Tabs, enabling users to easily switch between recently viewed files. GoodReader now also offers a Side Menu for creating PDF annotations, which users can keep open during annotating a document and turn off when completed.

Beyond the new Side Menu, another improvement for annotating PDFs include the ability to change line thickness and color without leaving the freehand drawing mode and the new text highlighting mode, in which a finger can be used to “paint” over text to highlight it.

GoodReader, developed by Good.iWare, has become such a huge success because of how it handles very large PDF and TXT files, navigating manuals, large books, magazines, and renderings of 100 mb and more with great speed compared to other document viewers. The ability to mark-up PDFs has opened up new doors to GoodReader users who can use typewriter text boxes, sticky notes, lines, arrows, and freehand drawings on top of a PDF file.

Since its release, the iPad version of GoodReader has achieved #1 in sales in the U.S., Canada, France, Germany, Spain and many others.
