PadDraw sports an original professionally drawn picture book that features simple to color-in images, while offering children a simple cohesive narrative about a boy who loses his puppy that young kids are sure to enjoy as they color one image after the next. Furthermore, the app incorporates over a dozen unique coloring pages, three different coloring modes, and five different brush sizes to keep things fresh for users as well. The application also features an eraser tool that allows users to erase specific portions of their drawing. If young artists want to erase all their work and start on a page from scratch, they simply turn on ‘Edit’ mode and shake the iPad, it couldn’t be simpler.
The three coloring modes that PadDraw includes range from Easy to Hard. Easy mode allows kids to colorin whole sections of drawing with the touch of a finger, while Normal mode allows them to hand color-in portions of their drawing with a special feature that doesn’t let them color outside the lines. The most true-to-life variant is the app’s Hard mode, which charges children with coloring in their pages without any automatic assistance from the app itself.
Once a piece is finished, kids can simply start over on a new page or save their colorful drawing directly to the iPad. There’s not many app that are as helpful in encouraging children’s artistic development as they are in making themselves accessible to their youthful user demographic. PadDraw is one app that kids will love not simply because its engagingly vibrant but because its made with their needs in mind as well.
